Over its first nine months, the Trump administration has issued dozens of new forms of tariffs, including global 10% tariffs, reciprocal tariffs of up to 50%, special China tariffs, and sectoral tariffs on automotive, steel, aluminum, copper, lumber products, and heavy-duty trucks—with more sectoral tariffs on deck. Nate Bolin, Partner, K&L Gates, will provide an overview of the current status of the various tariff proposals and their impact on the U.S. metalcasting industry, the inclusion process for the Section 232 tariffs, the ongoing USMCA review, and the Nov. 5 hearing in which the Supreme Court reviewed the tariffs President Trump has imposed this year under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
