LFGSM Faculty Bio

BONITA RICHTER

With over 25 years of leadership and management

experience, Bonita Richter is a faculty member at

Lake Forest Graduate School of Management’s

Center for Leadership. Bonita is president of Profit Strategies, an executive consulting firm. She gives mid-size and large organizations advice about their strategic direction, how to execute a talent and employee development strategy, and how to optimize performance improvement initiatives.

Before starting Profit Strategies, Bonita served as

the strategy and finance officer in her family's

precision machining and engineering firm, where

she improved growth, cash flow, and profitability,

and optimized manufacturing operations. She was deeply involved in culture and workforce

development and created many customized inhouse training programs to increase the skills and knowledge of employees. While serving as Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Harper College, Bonita delivered direct face-to-face business consulting, entrepreneurial coaching, mentoring, and workforce and professional development training to over 8,000 individuals, and helped secure over $60 million in investment capital. At Lake Forest, where she received her MBA, Bonita teaches strategic talent management and operations.
