AFS estimated that there are approximately 530 foundries* in the U.S. with 50 or less employees. These small businesses have unique needs that create challenges very different than those of the larger businesses that have greater resources.  In smaller foundries it is common that individual employees fill multiple roles. The owner operator serves a chief business officer but may also serve as chief technical or engineering officer. This workshop will focus specifically on the needs of the small foundry business sector. The workshop will combine the technical and business management issues. This workshop will be part of a broader AFS initiative to engage the small foundry sector in AFS activities and services and develop a stronger connection with the small foundries businesses that are currently underserved within AFS membership. 

Registration is $350 for members and $525 for non-members. Companies sending two paid attendees receive a complimentary third registration when they contact Customer Service at customerservice@afsinc.org or (847) 824-0181.

Cancellations & Substitutions
AFS presents a variety of technical and management conferences (in both in-person and virtual formats). The refund policy for AFS conferences is as follows: 1) Substitutions are accepted at no charge at any time up until the start of the conference; 2) Full refunds are offered if AFS is notified in writing of cancellation at least 30 days in advance of the conference. No refunds or credits are available for less than 30 days written notice.
