Lattice structures are lightweight and have outstanding energy-absorbing capability but are difficult to produce. Small lattice structures are the subject of numerous additive manufacturing research projects and have been produced in polymers and metals. This presentation looks into a comprehensive program that addresses lattice structure design, component production, non-destructive evaluation, performance modeling and performance validation.
